Mainer taking the plunge into the world of film :)

Hey Aaron!
Welcome to APUG!! I'm sure you will find tons of info here & lots of very helpful people! For beginning books, I love Henry Horenstien's books. He really makes things clear & simple. Same with Seuss (not Dr. ).

I love your work! Can't wait to see what you do with film!

Thanks for the welcome Jeanette

And thank you everyone for the kind words on my gallery! Much appreciated

Troy, nice to see anothah Mainah round the boards

Welcome to the group and, uh, Aaron, keep the D50 on the down low. JUST KIDDING. No, not really. Naw, again, welcome.

Thanks for the welcome flash Actually, I am seriously considering putting the D50 and it's lenses up for sale. After having processed my first negs on Monday, I am HOOKED! I would really like to set up a basic darkroom but, have some financial obligations coming up. So, the boss and I have decided that if either of us wants new toys we need to sell some old toys. We have a couple digital P&S cameras anyway. Convince me to do it! I just need that last push!....LOL

I sold a D70 a few months after buying it...and you can do it too. Its easy...Plus, you can afford an RZ, 645 super...or field camera and several lenses.

I don't know as though I'm quite ready for LF yet. I would really like to try MF though. I'm waiting to hear from Adorama about trading in some stuff. They have a couple Bronica and Mamiya used set-ups that I'm eyeing. Also, not sure if I should go with an SLR or a TLR... hmmmm

Thank for the welcome Jerry

Happy Shooting,
Aaron
