Mail Order E6 processing

My last local contact has now pulled their slide film processing service. Could anyone recommend a mail order service in the UK that are trust worthy?

YES -- In UK -- I use John Salim Photography in Southend-on-Sea ESSEX --- he works from home BUT has a Professional set-up in an outbuilding and his E6 is very good, c arefully monitored and NO VAT !! www.johnsalimphotographic.co.uk Mention Peter Elgar recommended you

This may surprise many. But here a business can apply for a small business statute and then will not be obliged to take-in VAT. (The same time they stay with the VAT they pay themselves, and also likely loose business clients.)
I assume there is similiar in the UK.

I have been using AG Photo Lab this year and am very impressed with the quality of the work with E6 and C-41.

To say that there is no Vat is a bit misleading. If the business turnover is below a certain amount then they are not required to register for Vat. So that means that they don't have to charge Vat and they can't reclaim Vat. Once they go over the limit that must comply with the Vat regulations. Remember that the retail price must include the vat amount (if any). So in theory a business could start out under the Vat limit but grow and go over the limit. The retail price is still the same but they are now liable to pay the Vat content of that sale.
