I bought a pad of Magnani's Annigoni 1404 paper. It is acid-free and unbuffered. The documentation doesn't say unbuffered, but the manufacturer confirmed it was. I used it for a Kallitype, developed in a 50/50 combo of Ammonium citrate and sodium acetate (per Christopher James). I did not tone it, but I did add a cold wax to the surface, about three coats, which increased the dmax and brought out the textural quality of the paper. I really like the way it accepts the sensitizer. I added a drop of Tween 20, but, frankly, I am not sure it really needs it.
The photo is of the spires of the Duomo in Milan.
