Hi - going through my bookmarks I came across the Magnachrom website - I have the first few pdf downloads but nothing seems to have happened for the last few months.

Does anyone here know if it is still a going concern? - It started very well

There was a thread about this issue a few weeks back. Apparently illness has delayed the new issue, but I think things are close to getting back on track, IIRC.

I gather Michael's back up and around, and he's a very pro-active type. I'm sure he'll have it back on schedule in the not too distant future.

So does anyone know what the story is with Magnachrom? I just tried to acccess the website to see if any new issues have been published but I got a "Fatal Error...." message. I'd love to see a new issue.

Check it again. Looks like it has changed to a blog of sorts.

Yes, there is a Magnachrom blog. But it still has a link to the Magnachrom website, and if you click it you get the fatal error Thanasis was talking about.

<edit> I take that back. When I tried it this afternoon I got the fatal error; when I try it now it just loops back to the blog.

Thanx for the kind words everybody.

After my illness I had to take a break. Later, the ISP hosting the MC site switched from PHP-4 to PHP-5 and everything broke -- right now I simply don't have the energy to fix the mess. So for the time being, its just the blog for now. Eventually, MAGNAchrom magazine may come back in some form. But for the time being think of the blog as "MC lite".

Cheers

Michael...

So glad to see you up and around...hope you continue to feel better.

I've missed M so much, but am thrilled to see your blog! M was by far the best photography e-zine I've ever seen.

Best wishes in your recovery!
