Cyan and Yellow are Colors and exist on the spectrum of colors. Magenta is a combination (or lack) of two colors. And, here we go again. (Quoting Cosmo Topper for those as old as me)
OK, should I forget everything that I have ever been taught about color because this is a photography forum and in photography magenta is a primary color (I repeat "in photography")? My second grade teacher probably never knew that. She did know the difference between black and white as do I. Kodachrome was just being invented by a couple of musicians at the time.I have been told that they started with black and white. Is it just my massive ignorance that I have never heard of magenta in connection with Kodachrome? Or maybe even Ektachrome or possibly Agfachrome CT18?I did try Kodacolor once or twice but it faded to pink in a short time, oh I'm sorry: "magenta". Kodak processing and printing too. I have seen ALL of the Topper movies thank you. When they were "first run" too........Regards!
I don't know what is true anymore, sorry. Must be a Mercury Retrograde thing. It's too bad qg isn't still here, s/he had a lot of wonderful insights. And, it's too bad Maury Amsterdam isn't here, I'm sure he'd have something to say.
