Recently I bought on ebay 2 17meter reels of Maco PTC 400 (emulsion C83 8083) expiry 03/2010. It has a pinkish polyester base somewhat thicker than other polyester films that I have used (Ilford 400P3, Polypan F), there is an antilaliation layer which dissolves turning yellow the first processing bath and there are no other information on the package (a typical maco bulk film packet like Rollei retro etc). In fact I didn't even knew the name of the stock until I processed the first film. The guy that sold it to me (from Austria) didn't knew anything about it and he thought that it was some Ilford surveillance film. I cannot find anything about that film on the MACO website, not even on google. Are there any processing info out there, any pdf or by any chance anybody else who eventually came across with this stuff? Btw, it came very cheap, only 10 euros for 2 17m (I also bought from the same guy 2 30m Ilford 400P3 for another 12 euros!).
I tried to develop it using Xtol 1+1 for 12minutes but it was somewhat underdeveloped and then Xtol stock for 12 minutes which seems to be better.

hi, i have also bought this film, recently i tried FX-37 1+3 at 21 degrees, for 15 minutes, film was rated at EI 400. negatives do loook great, very well developed.
i really like this film, i shoot it almost always with olympus mju, it has nice contrasty lens which suits this film best.
