With an order of 4x5 film, my local photoshop gave me some Maco genius print film for free. It was already long in stock and the guy behind the counter did not know what it was used for.
Can anybody tell me for what I can use it, because I can't seem to find much about it.
As to what it can be used for - Shoot in camera as cheap film, make copy negs, contrast masks, transparencies, etc. The only limit is your imagination.
Thx for the data sheet, but that I did find myself already.
I did some experiments with it, like using it as cheap film, however it is positive film, so I guess I have to use 2 sheets for every print I want to make, one positive and one contactprint to put it back in negative, before I can print it?
anybody any experience with this film, it seems to be quite contrasty.
No, but last night it was quite late when I did examen the negative and forgot about the effect you get when holding a negative at a certain angle to a lightsource, you get the idea it is a positive.
So it is actually negative film, which is quite great news for me, now I just have to figure out how it behaves under different circumstances.
