Hi, great timing I just purchased a Macbeth RD-519 densitometer on Ebay today and looking for the manual as well.

I did discover this link:

for the RD-519 that shows the manual as being the RD-514, RD 517 and RD-519. She is selling it though, it is not a download. I did download a few Macbeth manuals that are later models and can share if wished, it shows a complete calibration process, perhaps it could be used for general info and help with ours.

Anyway good luck and if I find it I'll post

I now have a pdf copy of the manual for the RD-514, RD-17 and RD-19 Macbeth units. It's 6mb+ so I can't post it here but I can send it to people who could use it. I also have the retired tech's contact info for parts and service on these and other Macbeth rigs.

Hi Craig, I have the Macbeth RD-517 and it just started to go out of calibration. I have the operators manual but I need a service manual or do youn still have contact information to your retired tech's contact info that youn posted. I understand that this is an old thread.

I lost a bunch of these things in a back-up snafu some years ago.... I'll check in some archives on an old computer when I can and get back to you. If I recall, there were some size limits in here and I needed to email directly but perhaps that has changed now?

I plugged in an old back up drive and only found one of the old Macbeth manuals (actually it was attached to an email that I had someone else along time back). It may have some crossover information for you. I'll see if Photrio can accept it as it's a bit large.... It seems as it will upload here. Sorry for being in some disarray here! I'll keep this in mind if I stumble into something useful.
