I've acquired a Macbeth TR927 densitometer. Though it apparently works, the densities seem to be a decimal point off from expected, i.e., 0.02 instead of 0.2. Does anyone have a manual or copy of the manual for this densitometer? Or can anyone provide some basic instructions to ensure it's working properly? I'm still in a position to return it where I bought it if it's not working correctly.
Thanks very much for any help.

Helen,
I'd appreciate the .pdf; that would go a long way.....
But no, I've not calibrated it. I was trying to just use it for differential readings, i.e., density over Fb+F. I don't have the calibration strips for transmission; I do have a reflection standard.
Thanks very much!
Bob
The pdf has been sent. I'd say that the readings would be meaningless if the instrument hasn't been calibrated - the calibration pot is too easy to adjust. You zero the transmission head without any calibration reference - it's described in the manual - but you need some kind of reference for the span.
