I am looking to buy a M707 condenser head with with condensers for 35mm to 6x7 roll film to compliment the Vario VC module that I already have.
Does anyone know if this item is still available and where I can buy it in the UK?
Cheers,
Keith.

I have no idea where it might be purchased in the UK. I checked B&H photo in NYC and they did not list it so I am inclined to think that one may not be ordered from the factory.

I would check out Ebay..everything shows up there sooner or later. You could also put a WTB ad on photonet.

I looked on the Tetenal UK website, but when I clicked on the Durst enlargers tab, I got nothing. I have sent them an e-mail which Hopefully they will reply to sometime next week. www.tetenal.co.uk
Thanks for replying.

The options are: M707 B/W Kit, ( Black & White Condenser Lamphouse).
Modular 70 COLOR: Colour head,
Modular 70 VARIO: Variable-contrast control head,
Modular 70 MICRO: Digital analyser, this can only be used with the colour head.
Also, Modular 70 STABI: Stabiliser module.
Hence the name, (Modular) and one of Durst finest enlargers.
The M707 condenser lamp house would replace the Vario if I wanted to use a harder light source and with the option of switching back to the Vario (diffuse) light source.
Cheers.

I shall have to look into this as I have an M707 colour enlarger and would consider fitting a multigrade head if it would take it.

Hello Roy,
The M707 is a good enlarger, but is not designed to take interchangable light sources (Modules). The M707 is an older model (I think) than the Modular 70.
Tetenal UK or Durst IT should be able to advise.
Cheers.

I had an e-mail from Tetenal UK this morning, stating that their remaining stock of Durst enlargers and accessories have been returned to Durst in Italy.

So why not contact Durst in Italy. If the have stock on hand you might get it at a very nice price.

Emails are rather inexpensive.
