M670 diffuser box for 35mm

I am currently searching for a new enlarger which does 6x7 too, but I was wondering if it needs another diffuserbox for 35mm enlarging? Since it does not have a switch like the M605. Or does it work with the 670 diffuserbox?

If I understand correctly the function of the 35mm diffuser box is to concentrate the lamp radiance into a smaller opening, thus giving shorter exposure times. The 6x7 diffuser box works fine, it is just not as bright, probably by a stop or two.
