I’m offered a Durst M670 with all parts for 35mm neg but it’s missing its column and base.
There are no 6x7 lens board, condenser carrier etc either.

It is not easy find those and I was thinking that perhaps another column or mount arrangement could be used?

Any ideas? Are any other Durst columns compatible?
Otherwise I believe it will be an expensive journey hunting all parts down.

Many, not all, Durst medium format enlargers have a post on the carriage that runs up and down the column. In my very limited experience that post has the same diameter. I am running a M601 head on a longer column from another enlarger, not sure which one, it came to me that way. The post on both of my M601 enlargers also came with a 3/8 hole for a tripod head. Post diameter on mine is 32mm. If your head has a socket at the back of the head, measure it. It may be cheaper to buy a complete enlarger than just a column.

Durst parts can be a challenge, less so in Europe than the USA, but still a challenge.

Thanks for your input.
Even though I'm located in Europe, finding odd parts which require shipping across Europe is not that easy.
The cost of both time, effort and money will most likely add up above the price of a complete set once such pops up for sale.

Waiting is probably cheapest as you say.
