I use the MR9's (two of them) in my Olde Sinar Sinarsix TTL Meters, I have four of them around. They do work with these MR9's, which is amazing to me, but the Olde Lunasixes are still deadly accurate

They all seem to end up at the same price of around $66 for two (if you don’t actively choose to pay more).
Might as well go with the proven MR-9.
I have a feeling someone somewhere is making a pretty penny on these.

Look for key verbiage in the product description, often not seen in the title:
"Use of 386 / SR43W Silver Oxide battery (1.55 V) to convert voltage to be equal to obsolete Mercury battery (1.35V)."
Both of Brian's links are to products which do the right thing!
It seems that the ones under $20 are the physical adapters for air cells, which do NO Voltage conversion.

I was after a cheaper/elegant solution. Appears the MR-9 adapters we’ve had for years is about as good as it gets.

Soldering a diode into the battery wires of the meter is simple.
It’s disassembling and assembling the meter correctly that is the hard part.
I’ve had my go at a few broken Gossen meters for the fun of it. And it’s actually surprisingly difficult!
