Two Lumedyne systems for sale

1. P2BF Basic Fast Pack 200ws, dials down incrementally (200, 100, 50, 25, 12, 6, 3ws). Can be boosted to 400ws with Booster module below.

2. #065 Power Pack Module 200ws, has switch for 100ws and 50ws. Also has FST switch which accelerates recycle time.

3. #071 Booster Module a 200ws attachment that boosts any 200ws pack to 400ws. Can be used in combination with other boosters to get as much as 800ws from a single head.

4. Two (2) 800ws heads. Tubes are good currently, have limited use, but who knows how long they may last. One of the heads has an accessory mounting for lightstands that takes umbrellas. ONE of the heads has a cord that is showing it's age. The rubber insulation is dry and starting to crack. Never bothered me. One could protect it with tape. Or, one could send the head back to Lumedyne for a new cord. Again, for me it wasn't an issue...just full disclosure. See the photo.

5. One 'small' battery #BSML

6. One 'mini' battery #024C

7. One charger CQ2U

All pieces working. Batteries not holding a great deal of charge and should be rebuilt by Dasaga.com before trusting them on a job.

In practice, I found I never needed all the power this system offered for most portrait flash-fill applications. Each pack is basically 3x the power of a Vivitar 283, for reference. It's a nice system. It recycles really quickly. Lumedyne is still in business, still services this gear, still sell accessories for this kit.

System 1: Dial-down pack, one head, small battery, booster module--$300 plus shipping
System 2: #065 pack, one head, mini battery $250 plus shipping

Take them both for $500 plus shipping.

Hello there.
I have never used one of these modular systems and was wondering if, with the 800w/s heads being powered by 200w/s packs, the flash will only output 200??
But you could run one of the heads up to 400w/s with the booster??
