Over the COVID lockdown I got into instant photography, which served as a gateway back into shooting good old fashioned film. But now that I'm shooting 35mm again (and have a 120 TLR on the way), I need to sell some of my instax gear to pay for more film goodies. So, the following have been listed on eBay:
A home-made Lubitel 166B Instax Square FrankenCamera. This camera works really well, though the shutter only has two effective speeds (plus Bulb): 1/125 and 1/250. I have tested all shutter speeds with a homemade arduino-based device, and those two speeds are accurate. All other shutter speeds default to 1/125. Focus is accurate, and the lens really shines in Instax photography (as the images are no enlarged). I documented the build here. I'm selling it as I have a Flexaret based FrankenCamera that I'm using when shooting Instax Square.
A MiNT TL70 TLR (which shoots Instax Mini film). The camera has just come back from MiNT, where the lenses were adjusted for proper focus. I have flocked the inside of the camera with Black 3.0 paint, and built a custom filter holder so that the light meter reads off the ND filter and adjusts exposure accordingly. I'm including a set of 55mm ND filters, as well as the MiNT close up lenses and ND4 and ND8 filters (the ND2 was sacrificed for the 55mm filter holder).
A lot of instax mini film expired on October 2020. Pretty self-explanatory: 14 film packs in total (7 double packs). I shot with film from this batch a few weeks ago, and the film was still perfect.
If you have any questions about any of these, don't hesitate to ask!
