Hi
this morning I was scanning away (in photoshop via the twain driver) and Nikon Scan strangely misbehaved during the subsequent feeding of another strip into the SA-21. I get the following error message:
then the twain driver refused to exit.
I had to quit photoshop, and got an error about the software referencing a memory location which it can't.
anyone got any ideas?
naturally i've rebooted twice and re-installed the drivers
PS ... I have now confirmed that my Firewire sub-system is working by having done a scan on my 4990 (which uses firewire too) on the same port and cable as I was using for the LS-4000)
I have notice too that after I load a strip of film I see that the scan interface dialog shows my settings are gray (didn't think they were before) and that my preview and scan buttons are grayed
I can not close it, and so need to quite photoshop. After quiting PS I get the following error message
PPS: after a restart it now works on the FD-3 ... so it seems confined to operations with the SA-21
