Hi!

Can somebody measure the glass plates of the universal carrier for LPL C7700 enlarger? The carrier that came with my enlarger didn't come with any glass plates so I'll have to get them somewhere or have them made.

I measure it as 60x89mm. The 89mm dimension fits snug, the 60mm has wiggle room for the locking mechanism to work. All edges have chamfers.

Thanks! Thickness.. 2mm? Less?

I have 2 strips of glass 62mm wide but longer than 89mm. I hope I can get someone to cut it for me without breaking the glass. One strip is 1mm thick AN glass and the other is 2mm plain clear glass. But the edges are straight so the locking mechanism might not work, especially with the thicker one...

Looks to be about 2mm thick. Hard to measure with a ruler! However you get to cut it might be able to clean up the edges.

If you want to buy a new set, there is an LPL dealer in Canada. In the UK the people, who make the Nova processors, have then in stock, as well. I bought from them. Just don't remember the web site right now.

The glass pieces have tapered edges so you can clamp them in the carrier. It may be tricky to cut that yourself. I bought the AN top glass from them years ago as my carrier had plain glass on both sides.
