LPL C7700 - largest print size from 35mm??

Would anyone happen to know, of the top of your head, what would be the largest print size attainable from a 35mm neg using a 50mm lens on this enlarger?

I mean sitting normally on it's very long 110cm column, not reversed onto the floor or anything, you know.

Effectively 16x20" paper!

I think if you don't use an easel, just the enlarger baseboard to get this possibility from memory.

If you rotate the head and mount your paper on a wall, you can make a way bigger print.

Mm, well, I'm thinking about swapping my enlarger (Durst M605 color) over to one of these LPL's because I really want to be able to do 16x20. Seems these are they're the only enlargers common enough around here to easily get your hands on (think I'd prefer an Omega XL). OH, I just re-read what you wrote Mick, yes, the easel will hit the column, can't do the easel. Doing it on the baseboard sounds like a pain in the arse. I could use an easel with an Omega I guess, with the way it angles out. Oh well, I can live in hope one of those comes up nearby. Kevin, if I had a wall to do it on I would've tried it already with the Durst, but the way my kitchen/darkroom is set up it's just not possible, same with the floor

I have an LPL C7700 too, and I use it this way when making large prints. Lately I have been printing 20x20" from 6x6 negs.

As you can see I use my bathroom as darkroom

The other possibility is to use a wide angle lens and get approximately a 20% to 40% greater enlargement for the same head height, dependent upon the type and brand of lens you acquire.

Yes, shed loads of those LPL enlargers were sold here.

What's more I've got that GIANT black Saunders easel just sitting around my living room looking like a coffee table, such a shame it can't be used.
