I remember seeing this guy on a short piece of reportage on the BBC, I believe he was wondering around Coney island taking pictures of people enjoying a day out and sharing with them.

When I worked at my first job, a wedding gig in Hamilton Ontario , there was a guy that would walk into all the banquet halls on Sat nights and take polaroids of willing subjects, he would also hit the bars as well.

This photographer Mr Mendes kicks it up a notch and I like what he does.

Mr. Mendes is a staple in nyc. Anyone who takes pictures in the city has bumped into him at some point. Hangs out in front of B&H pretty often.
