Learned a couple of things
First, don't cut to finished size BEFORE glueing. Second, just make ONE test piece.
I now have five lensboards that are 1/16th off. Last night I glued up some that are oversized and tonight I can cut them to the exact size. Perfection will finally be mine
I think the original ones will work but I just can't bring myself to use them. I'd see the mistakes all the time and it would bug me.
I also realized that I have a lot of scrap that has cluttered my garage for years that can be made into lensboards. I knew I got into LF for a reason.
Check out the Classifieds for my brilliant solution to getting rid of this scrap and cleaning out my garage.
