I took a book out of the library that referenced this site as a useful tool. Some of the info might be a bit dated but for the most part if you are a total geek you will love it.

I concur...I've found his proposal about the Beta RGB working space enlightening, and the CIE Color Calculator and Companding Calculator to be highly useful, especially the latter, for converting L* to density when calibrating digital negatives.

I'd love to try and insert the beta icc into my scanning workflow Vuescan > Camera Raw > Photoshop, but I have been unable to figure out how to get Camera Raw to see it as an available profile. Any ideas?
