I recently was given a CPP2 that came with a 3010 drum that has seen a lot of action. It seems fairly worn as the lid is a bit loose, comes off by hand, no pressure needed.
***Fixed***
I swapped it with a lid from a 3063 drum ( no longer really use ) and both drums fit snug.
Well fair enough but I would not exactly call it a fix, just swapping lids on drums. If it were my only 3010 I would be in a pinch because you can't really shim it unless you do the entire circumference, you would likely get liquid and light leaks.
If anyone wants to chime in on how they snugged up a worn out expert drum that would certainly add value to this thread.
That is what I did. Over the course of use which will be years and all the consistently developed, scratchless film sheets the cost amortized to almost nothing.
Agreed the Expert tanks are amazing. The whole Jobo system is pretty amazing how everything is modular. I have picked up stuff used. I really would like a new CPP3. These things look bulletproof. All the switches and relays integrated. Really neat unit.
