Looking to buy point and shoot help me to decide

I am looking to buy point and shoot camera for street photography. I use slide films like Provia and Ektachrome mostly. I don't know whether should I get Nikon 35Ti or Konica Hexar AF. If you can share your experience and advise me on the right direction would be much appreciated.

While both excellent PS cameras, bear in mind that it might be impossible to repair them when they break down. Check first where you leave if a repair service makes that possible and then decide.

Both are very questionable in terms of current reliability/price.
They are just fancy, if not snoby things, IMO. From my street photographer perspective.
Get EOS 300 and 40 2.8. This kit is far more reliable, priced normally and compact.
I'm digging 22-55 EF lens for street photography as well. Light, not big and versatile.

Had, heck, have, a 35ti. Exceptionally unreliable - suitable for storing leaky batteries and not much else. Impossible to repair.

It was camera as bling for the more-money-than-sense crowd, and to be fair it is pretty. I bought it at a low price and still paid too much.

Since I have never owned or used the two point & shoot cameras you listed, I cannot comment on either.

Here are the two P&S cameras I have used with slide film:
Canon Sure Shot (left)
Nikon L35AF (right)

Both are compact, motorized, auto-focus, auto-exposure point & shoot 35mm cameras. Both are great for the times when I want to shoot with a small, simple, inexpensive, easy to operate camera that takes decent quality photos.

I'm guessing any AF,AE P&S film camera these days lives on borrowed time due to being basically non-servicable.

A shame really, they are a lot of fun.

The Nikon 28 and 35Ti is extremely unreliable, unfixable and expensive.

The Konica Hexar AF (and RF) are getting there too.

I just sold a Samsung ECX1 for $20. That thing was in like new shape, ugly looking, but took fantastic pics. I'm not saying get one of those, what I am saying is that there are so many really good P&S cameras out there that you can get for $20. Or less.

Right now I'm using a Nikon Lite Touch AF (AF600) which has an amazing lens, a Fuji Work Project (again a super lens), and a Pentax WR90. Same deal.

I've always liked Rolleiflex with waist level finder for street use.

Yashica T2,3&4 series were well regarded and had Zeiss lenses I believe one of the models had both eye level and waist(small) level finders
Vey pricy any more.
Ricoh G and GR cameras, very compact & light. Sorta like a pack of cigarettes.
