Well... I'm not an artist or a writer. Nor do I play either one on TV. But I (finally) just finished reading that first issue. I spent the entire day this afternoon out in the sun with a Crown and flashbulbs. So I might be delirious.

But I liked it.

Although I'm not too sure about the snap labeled "Camping... New Mexico." I thought camping was lying awake in a small tent on an anthill all night long in pitch black darkness worrying if you were high enough to not be surprise flash flooded away. While also freezing to death. That snap looks like a fully framed and heated wooden attic?

But I digress...

Now I'm really looking forward to the next issue. I dunno'. Maybe I did something right by subscribing?

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it, Ken. I'm excited about the next issue.

"Camping ... New Mexico." Oh! that was the road trip where Amanda calmly knitted while I white-knuckled it through a blizzard above Abiquiu. It's no secret that she has a video from that trip that is safely locked in a safety deposit box in case she feels like blackmailing me. However, I have a similar video of her (which I doubt she knows about). This is why we get along so well. :whistling:

Thank you again for subscribing!

I will never take seriously a fine-art rag w/such dopes on the cover.

Does that mean that is you, second from the right?

Thanks for the efforts in putting this magazine together, it is interesting to see the works of photographers and the way they work. I got the subscription and the technical process works very well. I didn't know if I could download the magazine, you can, so means I can transfer the document to my iPad and read wherever when travelling.

We’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback on the layout and content of our inaugural issue. In the next issue of Looking Glass Magazine you’ll find articles that deal with the shape and challenge of creativity, a sometimes elusive topic that is most difficult to articulate without sounding like an art critic on crack. Good photography is not always about depicting reality, it can be about explaining it, giving it meaning, transcending it without becoming maudlin, syrupy, or gimmicky. Don't miss Dick Garrod’s piece for a better explanation.

Again, if you're having difficulty at login, please try the following.

1. Did you validate your account at the time that you subscribed? Please search your emails for a message from Joomag (action required). Once you've validated your account, please try to login again.

If that doesn't work, here's step two...

2. At Joomag, click "login"
3. A window will open
4. At the bottom of that window beneath the "login" button, is a link "forgot password?"
5. Please try resetting your password

Here are the instructions on our website: http://lookingglasszine.com/kiosk-instructions/

I'm happy to take calls to walk you through it, but I ask that you try these steps first on your own. If that fails, please give me a call.

Just went thru the subscription process (late out the gate) and the process was smooth and no problem at all. Looking forward to actually reading the 2nd issue, but have a show to put up on Monday...and there are still mats to cut!
