Hello - I'm looking for a workshop or class that would help me identify different processes used in early photography (1840s to 1930s) and dating images. I'm in the Boston area, working for an antiquarian bookseller.
I'm going through reference books, but the actual prints are what I'd be working with. I know I can make an appointment at Harvard or the MFA to see prints, and the PRC has a good library; any info along these lines is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dana
