I seem to have acquired 20 rolls of Tmax 400 and 100 over time, all refrigerated. Looking through the rolls today its interesting that there are about 6 different colors to the emulsions. Some are purple, some red, some yellow, some brown.

Normal?

The crazy thing is that when I pull the lead of the brown ones it is purple on the unexposed film.

It's called print out. All emulsions will eventually print out if severely overexposed. My fresh TMax400 is magenta.

Is you question weather the film is okay or is it how should you treat them?

They should all be okay. The TMX will probably require just about the same development even across vintages based on my experience shooting it for a long time. The TMY if you have both old and new version will require different development times. You should be able to tell the difference from the packaging on the TMY.
