Looking for OASIS Pro (Fuji) in France or good alternatives for densitometer/color management software

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to track down OASIS Pro (by Fujifilm) in France — specifically, how to purchase it, who officially distributes it here, and how to obtain a valid license.

I used to work with FujiTecom2000 and a Viptronic densitometer, and I would be happy to use the Tecom2000 again, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. I also can’t find OASIS Pro locally or online for purchase or licensing. So far, official Fujifilm France support has been unable to assist. Ideally, I need something that works with X‑Rite densitometers. Does anybody know if OASIS Pro is still actively sold or supported in France? If so, who is the authorized reseller? How can I obtain a license (perpetual or subscription)? Are there any contact details or websites that actually sell it? If not, is there a densitometer software that is still readily available or supported, that you would recommend?

The France office AFAIK is just that - an office. The actual technical expertise in this particular area would be in Sint Niklaas, Belgium, at the Fuji Hunt business.
The Fuji offices have an unfortunate habit of communicating fairly ineffectively much of the time, resulting in questions asked of local offices to basically getting lost. On the other hand, my experience with the actual centers of expertise is that they're willing and able to answer specific questions.

That's not to say I'm particularly hopeful about the availability of this product; the software may be feasible, but hardware might be tricky. This is a niche within a niche and I doubt that even Fuji themselves still use this.

Thank you! I’ve actually reached out to the Belgium office as well, but it’s taking a bit of time to get a response. I’m starting to wonder if there’s any other software that might be easier to get hold of - though it seems like finding something suitable is turning into a bit of a nightmare.

If anyone here has experience with alternatives or knows of similar software that’s easier to access, I’d really appreciate any pointers!

As I understand, what you'd mostly do is track three densities per color channel over time. If I had to set something like that up today, I'd just put it in Excel or otherwise build a Python script using AI that visualizes the plot based on data acquired from a suitable densitometer. Appropriate bandwidths of the densitities can be obtained from Fuji's or alternatively Kodak's documentation which is freely available online. That of course still leaves the issue of obtaining a densitometer that connects to a computer - although manual data entry is always a possibility as well.
