I'll go and see.. (I have a durst 138 for spare parts..)

You have probably found out the Nega carriers are hard to find in good condition and sell at high prices on EBay even when in bad condition. The complex neg carrier was a weakness in the design in my opinion. I have made up a basic 5x7 carrier for my 138 with some anti-newton glass I bought at a camera market for $5. The last one I bid for and lost on EBay went for around $300 from memory! Sorry I can't help but good luck with the search.

I had the same experience as Tony did on the neg. carriers, finally I found a 5x7 Zipper Glassless carrier for just a few dollars. I found it just as I was going to make one up. Finding the enlarger is the easy thing, getting the lens rings/tubs/lapla's etc and accessories are the hard and often expensive part.

Hello

thanks for answering. I already have a nega 138, but 2 of the 4 metal glass holder are broken. So I am looking for a better one. I've had the chance to buy my durst 138S in switzerland, last month, and it looks really like new. It comes with a tripla turret, a 150 mm niko 5.6 (with a lapla 42 adapter), and a 80mm nikon 5.6 (with a seipla 7539 adapter). I have all condensers necessary for this kind of lens, and for 6x6cm and 24x36 film type (Latico 85, 130, 200 and 240). I also have 3 opaline 200W bulbs, and a 24x36 lapfe 35 mask.
But I use to make medium format with a mamya RZ67, and I primary bought this enlarger for making medium format prints.

It is true that it's very hard and expensive to find spare parts for this enlarger. But I keep searching...

Have a nice WE

I have several sets of anti-newton-glass for the 5x7" carrier, if anyone needs replacements.

I don't think I have any more extra spare parts left, though. Will have a look and see what I can find.

Is there any way to make a difference between an anti newton glass, and a normal glass ? (is there anything printed on it, or it's just when you're making enlargment that you can see something ?)
