Looking for an Enlarger in Indianapolis

Hi all,

I am living in Indianapolis and have reached out to IUPUI, as well as the Indianapolis Arts Center. IUPUI has apparently gotten rid of their dark room, and the Arts Center is in the process of no longer allowing anyone that is not enrolled in a class to have access to the dark room. I have already developed my actual film, but I want to make sure prints and am looking for a dark room/enlargers. Does anyone know where else to look? Every where that I have found from just searching online has either closed their darkroom entirely or has restricted it's access. Any info would be appreciated!

Use the Ilford darkroom finder here.

It doesn't look as though there is a facility in Indianapolis, but there are two others looking for one. You might be able to pool your resources. There are a few that are not in easy driving distance but not out of the question if you are still getting your feet wet.

Are you looking for a darkroom to use or are you wanting to set up a darkroom? If setting up, what format film/s are you planning for. 6 x 6 cm and down, or are we talking 4 x 5 sheet film and upward?

Check your local craigslist. I know of one 4x5 Beseler enlarger available, along with other associated darkroom items.
