Can anyone point me in the direction of a good book on reportage photography? It seems there are loads of books on fine art landscape etc etc photography and loads of books aimed at beginners etc, but I cant seem to find anything on this genre - maybe there is not much material as it is possibly the lease "technical" area of photography and therefore does not lend itself so much to a "how to do it" type of book.

Any help appreciated,

Matt

Try a search on Amazon? IIRC there's one by a guy called David Herrod.Approaching Photography by Paul Hill (Focal Press) has a good section on reportage/documentary-he used to be a press photographer before taking up a teaching post and starting the Photographers' Place.
