Hi all, I don't know if anyone can help me with this but I'm looking for someone who knows Bobs work well enough to help me locate an image I'm pretty sure was by him from pre-1989. At the time, I was interested in colour photography, wildlife mostly. Then I found an article in either Amateur Photograper or Practical Photography (British magazines) from around mid-1989 showing what I remember to be Bob's work. There was a particular image, a woman in billowing black lace holding a model ship. It was a captivating image and probably responsible for inspiring me to try black and white for the first time. I've never been able to find the image again, possibly because it wasn't Bob's after all, so I'm searching for the wrong thing, but if anyone knows his work well enough to be able to point me to it, or knows the archives of the British photography press well enough to locate the article, I would be eternally grateful.
Ta!

Do a search for "The Dark Summer" or "Obsessions", maybe "Delta of Venus" also his work was used in Agfa adverts around that time. My gut feeling is it's in Dark Summer, which I don't have onhand at the moment.

Thanks for that. I checked and its not in The Dark Summer, though I do remember the cover to the Damned 'Phantasmagoria' in the article, so it must be close. I guess I'll have to find and archive if Amateur Photographer or Practical Photography from 1989 and check that.
