Hello! I am an old photographer recently retired and now full-time checking off my bucket list. Mostly photography related and 4x5 for larger formats only. I am looking for a 4x5 enlarger or larger in the Texas area. I am in Houston. I have watched local sites but I am not sure I want a project enlarger versus a complete one. Most sellers don't know what they have or if it is working or comnplete- I expect that people reading this will be much more educated (and able to educate me.)

So if you have one laying about let me know and let's see if we might make a transaction. Thanks!
 
Have you checked FB Marketplace? They used to show up fairly often there. Or Houston Camera Exchange? I've seen enlargers at Art Asylum as well. https://www.texasartasylum.com/

Thank you for your ideas. I've chased three enlargers on FB- two with bad power regulators with the third having fire damage in the lighthouse. That's why I am hopping for a complete one here. I was NOT aware of the Asylum- I will add that to my watch list. Thank you again for taking the time to respond.
 
I have a very nice Beseler 45CMRX for sale. Everything works and looks really good.

Thank you for your kind offer Mr. Durr. If I was closer I would be there tomorrow- unfortunately that would be outside my driving ability. I'm a little up there in age and poor night vision. Looks like a fabulous enlarger too.

If still looking, I have three enlargers I would like to send to new homes. Am in the New Braunfels, San Marcos area. Nice gear. Previously sent more detailed information, with no reply. Bill Barber
