I have that version of a Speed Graphic which I bought mostly for display. It has the ground glass, but no holder device, or holders.

A year ago there was no film available in that size. Now, Shanghai GP3 is, and I suddenly crave film holders.

thoughts? thanks!

Do I understand correctly that that size is also known as quarter plate? If so, that might help you expand your searches.

I have some spare 3 1/4 by 4 1/4 film holders from Graflex. Wooden, but in good shape. 6 at $4.00 each plus shipping? If you're interested, I'll send a picture. Just got home so I didn't have time to take one.

Forgot to ask. Where is the film available? I have a quarter plate Speed that was my favorite camera.

In recent years I've gotten my 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 film through the annual Ilford special order.

Freestyle currently shows both FP4+ and HP5+ in stock in 3 1/4 x 4 1/4, but be forewarned that it's not cheap.

Film.. we cut it down from 4x5. Using a small cutting board with template. No big deal.
The llford special order is what Freestyle is selling. They order it from them when they have the special order available. Handy for those who don't mind the cost later in the year.

Cutting down 4x5 seemed like an option to me, but between not having holders and not looking forward to doing that in the dark didn't appeal to me.

Re film availability: I see at Fotoimpex that Adox is offering the re-born CMS100II in 3 1/4 x 4 1/4. Substantially less expensive than Ilford, too.

Where do you see that?

There are two Chinese sellers on eBay with good ratings selling 50 sheets of Shanghai GP3, ISO 100 film for $50, shipping included. Ilford offers FP4+ and HP5+ at about $75 for 25 sheets at Freestyle. Ouch. Better to cut down 4x5.
