Longer Cable Release

I have a 40" Gepe Cable Release, very nice, but I need one longer, i.e. at least 5 or 6 feet. Any suggestions?

Maybe they type that uses a rubber bulb and tube, you can make them quite long.

You may ask this german manufacturer if they custom make you one of their models with that long cable. They did so (25') in the past. You also might ask for one more standard length release plus extension cable, though that coupling might be a risk for disconnection.

But I too would also consider the pneumatic release by bulb.

You need an air bulb release, these are cheap and cheerful at the camera fair I go to.

You need a pneumatic one then Kaiser makes a pretty good one.
