That's a really marvelous list!

May I highly recommend two titles many people may not recognize for the absolute treasures that they are.

First, Memoirs of a Photochemist by Fritz Wentzel. Utterly enchanting at the same time as deeply educational. Dr Wentzel has in large part been my time traveler guide through early emulsion technology.

Also, Images and Enterprise, Technology and the American Photographic Industry, 1839 to 1925, by Reese V. Jenkins, and The John Hopkins University Press (and winner of the Dexter Prize of the Society for the History of Technology). Full to brain-fill with historical minutia.
