London Meeting

A while ago there was a suggestion that an evening meeting be arranged for those living or woking in London, but it seems not to have been followed up.

Is there any interest in such a meeting. Something low key and social perhaps?

But of course, I am interested in meeting other members in London.

I live and work London, so I don't mind helping for co-ordinating.

I'd be happy to host this if it would make arranging things easier. I'm quite central (near Westferry DLR) and could probably find space for 8-9 people at a pinch. How about food and drink in exchange for bringing some prints to show?

I didn't say I would organise the event; I simply asked to establish the level of interest.

I suggest a poll is arranged to establish the most popular day to meet.

For myself I should be able to attend an evening meeting, although a weekend may be preferred. Ian's offer is generous, but as Delphine says many more may want to attend, so a public venue may be required.

So if anyone's interested in popping over for a social evening in January then please PM me with your email address. I'll provide some nibbles and drinks in exchange for you bringing some prints to show (no egos, no scorecards, just prints ). As for dates, how about 18th or 25th January? Numbers would have to be limited I'm afraid, but for now I'm just interested in expressions of interest.

If you'd prefer a mass meeting in a hostelry (which really is not my bag baby), then someone had better put their hand up to organise it...
