Lomo's new ' hand -rolled ' Kono film.

Got a mail that these are now available on the site. Has anyone used/heard of this before? Or know what they're hand rolling?

As cinefilm DIY user I could tell you for color it seems to be fancy rebranded cinefilm and nothing else.

I am starting to kind of like Lomo's film. I am shooting a roll of Earl Grey 620 in my Kodak Monitor 620. The price is certainly good for re-rolled Kodak film.

I haven't tried any of their color film options so I can't say whether I like it or not.

I am still glad they are out there pedaling it though. It may just be recycled stock but it is keeping people interested.

Hmm yea. Buying and rolling your own film seems better -but what's 400iso cine film? I don't think there's an existing Colour cine film.

If you noticed the closing tag at the end of my comment, it was poking a stick at the cantankerous attitude I was expressing. I agree it's good to keep people interested in film - I just don't see selling people ends of rolls that they can't buy again if they like the look as benefitting film long-term, though.
