I have had this a while, a good deal offer I expect so decided it was about time i gave it a go. As standard SLR lens focus down to around 0.5m I decided to test run it using my Pracktica L.

Being Lomo the flash unit does not have standard fittings for a camera. Fortunately the lead just reauires a hot shoe. Anyhow with an aluminium strip and a few elastic bands I fitted it up.

Film to hand was some kentmere 400 and I reckon some of my other Lomo cameras would make good subjects.

I did bracketed shots to establish a guide number. I had read it was around 11 in metres and worked from there. without any of the filters over the four flash heads I reckon it is between 8 and 11. With the white and coloured filters it seems to be around 4-6.

So if you have one these are good figures to start on.
