I bought one of these through the Lomo kickstarter campaign. It did not come with a film but these are easy enough to get. In the UK John Lewis was the cheapest and quick delivery.

Interesting camera. Takes two rather expensive batteries so I hope they last. Viewfinder is a bit naff otherwise straight forward.

I expected it to be better on the flash indoor than outside. Turns out that at least in the sun outside it is pretty good.

A bit stiff so first film not so good but second was fine. It is capable of an arms length selfie so quite a wide angle. A bit trickier for one further away.

Here are some scans of my first efforts.:

Me holding it at arms length.

Best of luck with your new camera. Your shots look good.

What colour did you get? I must admit that I liked the retro look of the camera.

How is the build quality?

Colour is much the same as original. Gloss finish means it looks a little sharper, but then relative to the screen it is smaller. Just scanned as a colour print on an Epson V300 at 2400 dpi. Blemishes removed in Photoshop Elements. Save as medium jpeg.
Camera is typical Lomo. Mainly plastic. Lens is glass I think, the results bear this out. Beats Fujis own cameras in looks though.
