Given that it's a full daylight developing tank, "Darkroom Equipment" might not be the most appropriate place for this, but I thought I'd share a link to Lomography's new Daylight Developing Tank (35mm only at this stage).
Before everyone with a darkroom and 3,000+ spare Paterson/Nikkor/etc. tanks floating around and fifty years of experience denigrates this, please cheer first as I LOVE the fact that new film photography products are being made and this tank will be especially good for
- those put off trying their hand at home film development by the need to manage film loading in the dark
- travellers wanting to take a small set up out on the road
- anyone with limited manual dexterity.

Yeahhh!! I'm all for new products coming to the market for film users, but personally, the item seems way over engineered, with too many steps to get one wrong. And I've never come across a film developing tank that requires a metal(?) strap to hold it all together...

And doesn't the last few seconds of the video show a TOTALLY UNDEVELOPED AND / OR FIXED FILM?!?!?!? If so, shouldn't this unveiling have be re-shot, to show the product being able to do what it's supposed to do?!?!!?

I think that I'll stay with the occasional sweaty film changing bag and my decades old, but still working, Paterson tank.
