Logo Competition

Now that we can use a logo for this group, how about a competition to decide on one for the FAN group?

Unless anyone has a better idea, why not submit one of your photos that would work as an 80px by 80px logo. Square shooters have a natural advantage so get out your Rolleiflexex and Holgas and get snapping...

Stupid point: is Sean happy with us using nudes as an icon? It'd be publicly displayed.

I'd assume that as it's OK to post nudes in the galleries then an icon can't hurt. But we could always use an implied nude if people feel strongly about it... Or even follow John Ashcroft's inspiring example at the DoJ and place drapes over strategic areas of the body...

I wouldn't worry about that either. But I agree it would be prudent to check with Sean. My shoot got pushed out one week, and I'll definitely keep it in mind...

Could be a good way to entice more people to participate here - to see that good art is created here. I'm thinking that since the avatar is so small it'll have to be a really convincing and articulated form.

I might have something sufficiently abstract enough to work. I'll dig through my files and see if I can get something that would fit the size requirements.
