Not everyone's idea of a low fidelity camera, I'm reacquainting myself with my Voigtlander Bessa L. As some of you will know, the L doesn't have a viewfinder, so I use it with an old Kontur "blind" 6 x 9 finder which corresponds to the Industar 61 if you know where to look (wink). The lens is distance focus, so much guessing is involved. The one concession to modernity is the top plate light meter. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy using it.
I'm always surprised how (relatively) sharp the Industar is. Is it a Tessar design? I have 3 or 4, and they vary in sharpness. The best is the Lanthanum powered 61 L/D, which I used on Leica M5. The 61 is definitely cheating on a lo-fi thread. Not quite as nice as the Helios 103, anyway I'm heading off topic.
