Has anyone perfected the art of printing a lith print digitally?

I would love to try and create this wonderful printing method.

If you mean by using a digital printer then have you tried Alien Skin Exposure 4?

It has some great Lith presets. I tried the demo last week and printed them on an Epson 7800 and was quite pleased with them.

A couple of examples:

Zenfolio | Mark Tomlinson | Digital Lith

If you mean using some sort of digital negative and chemistry then I guess you should read Tim Rudman's book. I am thinking of going this way myself.

I wonder if David means that he wants to print from a lith negative? It would require digitizing first. I've done that by copying Kodalith neg with Ektachrome, then scanning that using Nikonscan. Also by scanning directly with Epsonscan. Then inkjet printing...done properly it rivals silver blacks.
