Lith print paper status 2020?

Thanks! I don't think they were ever sold on the international market. The paper was been officially discontinued for a few years now but I can still buy it in some shops, like Yodobashi, although the size and finish selection is more limited.

The colors you got out your Fuji paper reminds me very much at the look of Anton Corbjin's Star Trek - really beautiful (beside that, i really do like your shot definitely) My Foma MG with Moersch Lith only takes that route for the first two prints (and some subtle toning). So I've always have a spare bottle with a fresh lith mix to compensate in my tray.

I have and love that book - those lith prints (and colours) are gorgeous. I just wish we still had those papers to print with today.

My main go-to lith paper are the Foma MG papers (131 and 132) and initially I loved the colours that I got from them. But it didn't take long to realise that the salmon pinks didn't work well with every subject, so now I tend to minimize that look as much as possible by NOT using OB in my developer, using slightly more B than A in my mix, and changing the developer after the first few prints, since the early ones will be less colourful than the later prints.

I once had a conversation with Wolfgang Moersch about that subject, where he mentioned, that this look is also doable with Foma MG. The trick seems to be, not looking for the color in first place - instead forming the color later with toning (he's absolutely crazy about toning) and work first on tones and structure.
He also mentioned, it's possible to lith for example with Ilford MGWT (for me, one of the nicest paper ever) but it needs some treatment before lith for bring out the 'speed up' substances from the emulsion.

I have also high hopes for the (hopefully soon) coming Polywarmtone paper from Adox.

Corbjin's Star Trek is an absolute masterpiece for me. (Many, many) Credits belongs also to his printer in London, Mike Spry.
