Hi, I talked to Mike and he is too busy to organize the next round of the lith print exchange. So I jump in to organize it.

I think half a month might be enough time to join in. So we have the following schedule:

Signup: November
Print and send: December and January.

I am in.

Me too

With this timetable I should be able to do it, count me in.

Great, so we are already 9 only after half a day ...

Just a question about the group size. What do you prefer, groups of 3, 4 or 5?

and I vote for 3 or 4, since that seems to be about the limit of my chemistry for repeatable results after finally finding the right balance

Yes I am also OK with 3 or 4 although I hope to end up in a 4 member group. Well, if we go for larger groups (say 6) then we can exercise refreshing developer to get consistent output over more than 4 sheets

... Does the same print need to be sent to each person, or can I send different subjects out to different people? oh, and 3 or 4 is better, imo.
That is up to you. I usually send the same print. Well, for the lith print exchange at least I try to send the same print

Well I've just had a long printing session. It's the first time I've tried Fotospeed Lith paper. Just hope some of the prints are good enough when they're dry. Or I might experiment with toning them and wreck them all completely ... it wouldn't be the first time.

I have already settled down on a negative which I know how to print. So for this round I try to be early

Well, as promised I experimented with toning my last lith prints - and wrecked them. If you are going to sepia tone a beautiful girl - I mean a print of her - then it is better to bleach all of her skin: partial bleaching (I wanted to keep her eyes black) will give her an unsightly and unflattering skin condition, where she is partly grey and partly sepia after the toning. On the other hand, if you bleach her fully, sepia tone, then gold tone the result, it is possible to give her severe sun burn. :D

You folks may be getting some different prints ...

cheers
