hello
I have 2 year old sealed bottles of moersch easylith dev and in one of the parts (b i think, not sure now) there are a lot of white solid flakes on the bottom that won't dissolve, although i have heated and shaken for a while.
The developer is working, but I was wondering if that means its weaker or less active than it should be.

Part B has substantial amount of potassium carbonate according to MSDS. It might have precipitated over time. You can check pH of Part B and verify it is around 12.3.

I think this must be a newer problem. My old bottles of Moersch lith developer do not have this problem, but all the bottles I bought new this year came like this right out of the box. I’ve been told it won’t affect the image, but I have yet to do any comparisons.

Interesting, thank you.
I will check the PH and just continue working with it.
Its a fine developer!!
