Lith developer, how to keep it for more then a couple of hours???

In my lith printing sessions i rarely make more then a few prints in one evening.
Most of the time the brew i use is just getting interesting and far from exhaustion. Due to the job the next sessions is, more often then not, a couple of days later. Most of the time the developer is gone of, i gues due to oxidation. I keep it in a plastic container with protectan spray in it. Do you know of a better way to keep lith developer once mixed up and how long do you manage to keep it. Glas bottles, marmbles, in the fridge, in the freezer??

It depends a bit on which dev you are using, but I never find it worth trying to keep any lith dev for another session - except as Old Brown to prime the next batch of fresh developer with. Once A&B are mixed the clock is running. Not worth keeping after the session (other than as OB).

They are due into the warehouse on Monday. If on time they should then be shipped to me about one week later. I'm actually out of the country that week as they are a bit earlier than originally expected, so immediately on my return begins the unpacking, signing & numbering etc then packing orders and dispatching.

Jaap, I should qualify the statement I made above above - it's not always strictly accurate.
For the effects I want it is true. However, you will see in the new book the beautiful work of one of my guests who does in fact leave his mixed developer overnight before printing, in order to get the aged-looking effects he is after.
This is one of the lovely things about this process. It is so flexible and can be adapted by individuals to produce so many different results.
