I am selling a Linhof Technorama 617S (second series, with fixed Linhof-engraved Schneider Super-Angulon 90mm f/5.6) camera including:
- Linhof Aluminium case
- Correctly matched Schneider Centre-filter
- Front lens cap
- Cable release
- Original user manual booklet
The camera is in great condition, with some marks on the body due to normal wear. The lens and centre-filter are absolutely pristine, with no cleaning marks or dust. The camera was serviced in 2009 by a qualified technician, who also replaced the shutter button cable release with a new item from Linhof.
This camera was produced in 1995, with serial number B061142.
Image quality from this camera can only be described as "majestic" - with corner-to-corner clarity, lack of chromatic abberation, and colour that most other systems can only dream of attaining.
The camera is wonderfully compact and simple (quick) to use for what it is, and built to last a lifetime.

Reason for selling: I'm a B&W guy, and I simply cannot find a reasonably priced 5x7 enlarger to optically project these massive negatives that I can afford, and that will fit in my darkroom. The sale of this camera will fund a 4x5in camera.

I have in over 10 years never lost a photographic item in the mail to South Africa from various locations in the world, but would obviously recommend insurance, or even courier service (DHL, UPS, etc) if buyer does not mind spending a bit extra for peace of mind.
