Linhof Technika III 6X9 camera - confusion about formats... info needed.

I'm reading about Linhof Technika III 6X9 camera and I'm getting confused. #
Its called 6x9 because it use a format 6 cm x 9 cm ONLY ? No interchangeable back for 4x5 inches?- I read that there are two Linhofs tech. III - 6x9 cm and 4x5 '' , so there is no way to use 4x5 inch size back on Linhof III 6x9 version ?

I know that those question might be trivial. My knowledge is purely theoretical as I have not seen any of those cameras in my life ,therefore I'm trying to understand would I be able to use 4x5 inches size film on Linhof Technika III 6X9 camera ...

You can shoot 6x9 cm and other smaller formats on a 4x5 inch or a 6x9 camera, but you can't shoot 4x5 on a 6x9 camera.
