For Sale Linhof Master Technika 4x5

This Linhof needs a lot of TLC.
I thought I could do it, but it's 'way beyond my capabilities.
The bellows are somewhat detached at the back end, but I think they can be repaired. I'm not sure...replacing the bellows might be a better solution.
The body has missing pieces of leather and the strap is missing.
The focusing glass has one crack, but is complete.
The rangefinder works.
The bubble level works!
The focusing rails are smooth and the cam works.
All the movements work, but the camera needs a complete overhaul.
I think it's complete except for a lens and a lensboard.
I think it's a Master Technika, but I'm not sure.

The camera is rough but most likely worth more than my trade offer of a konica 35mm kit with lenses bellows motordrive and accessories worth about 225 and willing to pay shipping of your camera to me. If remotely interests you I can send pics. Otherwise feel free to ignore my offer.

That is not the Technika model referred to as the "Master".

It looks more like the much older Tech III model.

The Tech III used a different lensboard and cams than the later Tech IV, V, and Master.

Parts can be a problem Tech III, as only used or rarely NOS parts are available.

Technika 111 version 1
Version 2 has a recessed front door for increased rigidity

Wow, and I thought my Technika was in bad shape! Still, these things are hard to kill....would make a good project for someone.

Thanks, Mark, for identifying my Linhof.

However, based on Cameraquest's website, I thought it was a Technika III Version 5 because on my camera the front door is not flat, but rather of the "reinforced angular design." Also, my camera has two front focusing knobs.

Look for a thread on the Large Format Forum under the title Linhof Serial Number and post your camera serial number. Ask for the model, version and year of manufacture. Bob Salomon -with HP Marketing is very good about posting answers reagrding Linhof info. to that thread. Good luck.

Yes, I looked for the serial number but no luck.
That was the main cause for confusion.
But I did find that the camera has a focus cam installed for a 150mm lens.
I'll give Bob Salomon a call today.

No serial number under the VF. I'll call Mr. Salomon when I have a chance on Thursday.
